What is the difference between an Email and Physical gift card?

Gift cards are delivered after your order has been processed. Delivery and shipping times differ depending on if you purchased an email or physical gift card.

Email Cards
Email gift cards are delivered via email. While it will typically only take ten minutes for you to receive your eGift card, it can take up to 1 business day if further verification is needed.

Physical Gift Cards
All physical gift cards are sent via FREE USPS First Class Mail and should arrive in 3-7 business days. During peak holiday periods and USPS holidays, delivery may take a little longer.

Are there fees or taxes for buying gift cards?

We do not charge sales tax, the cost of shipping, or processing fees. The “You Pay” price you see is the total amount you’ll pay for the gift card.

Do the gift cards expire?

No, the gift cards you buy from Cardpool will never expire. If you see a discounted card from one of your favorite stores, you can buy it now and use it anytime you’d like.

Can a store or merchandise credit be used just like a gift card?

Store and merchandise credits are sometimes issued by some merchants when an item is returned to them without a receipt. Many stores treat merchandise credits in the same manner as regular gift cards; however, you’ll need to contact the store to learn their specific terms and conditions.

Do you charge sales tax or shipping?

No, we do not charge sales tax and USPS shipping is free. The price that you see is the price that you get!

What is Cardpool’s Purchase Guarantee?

Cardpool is committed to making our customers happy by offering the highest level of service possible. If you purchase any gift card from Cardpool, we guarantee it will be valid at the merchant and for the dollar amount specified on your order. We make such guarantees for up to one (1) year from the date of your purchase. If you are unable to redeem your card for the full amount specified in your order during that time, please contact us for a refund. Our guarantee is subject to a maximum of $1,000 lifetime per customer. The Cardpool Purchase Guarantee is subject to the Cardpool Terms of Use.

Can I change my shipping address?

Unfortunately, if your order has already shipped you cannot change the “ship to” address. However, if your order hasn't shipped, we may be able to update the address. Please feel free to contact us to check on order’s shipment status.

Use anywhere: You can use the gift card online or in-store.

In-store only: You can only use the gift card at the retailer’s physical store location.

Online only: You can only use the gift card for purchases on the store’s website.

Why does my order need further verification?

Some orders will require additional verification process. If you're a first-time buyer, or if your order total is above a certain threshold, you may receive a phone call or email from the Cardpool support team asking you to verify your order information. This is an industry standard meant to ensure a secure exchange and to protect customers.

What should I do if I received a charge on my credit card that I did not authorize?
